Job Overview: We are looking for a Site Civil Engineer to join our team for an affordable housing project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the construction work at the project site.
- Manage the installation and repair of tiles.
- Handle carpenter tasks such as door fixing and fitting.
- Fix aluminum frames and glass doors/windows.
- Paint interiors and exteriors of flats, including balconies and railings.
- Work with contractors for all tasks mentioned above.
- Ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget.
- Identify and solve any issues that come up.
- Support and guide daily wage workers, unskilled labor, security staff, and store managers.
- Ensure all workers are safe on the site and follow safety rules.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a similar field.
- At least 5 years of experience in civil engineering, especially in site design and construction.
- Knowledge of local and national building regulations and standards.
- Experience in managing budgets, schedules, and resources for construction projects.
- Good communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
